20x30.5" travel poster promoting trips to the 1939 New York World's Fair. Printed by Grinnell Litho Co. Inc. and © NYWF. Poster illustration by Smokey the Bear creator Albert Staehle (1899-1974) features female New York World's Fair guide wearing uniform w/shoulder patch and Trylon and Perisphere button as she motions to the fairgrounds, dominated by the actual Trylon and Perisphere buildings in bkg. Poster has been linen-mounted w/some professional restoration to corners and 7/8" tear along upper left margin. As linen-mounted, poster now displays Exc. w/vivid color.
