20x30.5" travel poster promoting trips to the 1939 New York World's Fair. Printed by Grinnell Litho Co. Inc. and © NYWF. Poster illustration by John Atherton (1900-1952) features wonderful Art Deco design showing Lady Liberty embracing globe w/crowd of people walking toward New York World's Fair's iconic Trylon and Perisphere buildings. Poster has been linen-mounted w/some professional restoration to pin holes at corners and two tears at top center margin. Bottom center margin has repair to small pin hole/pull and 2" tear to right of center w/1/8x.25" hole. As linen-mounted, poster now displays VF/Exc. w/vivid color.
