27.25x41" for the original release of the 1919 Triangle Distributing Corp. adaptation of Henry Russell Miller's novel "The Ambition Of Mark Truitt," a moving story of self-sacrifice for one's family set in the industrial era directed by Gorge Ridgwell and starring Alice Mann, Frances Mann and Emil De Varney. Wonderful stone lithography by Ritchey Litho features De Varney pointing at Mann w/"'Fear! The Child Of Her Distrust'" dialogue caption. Originally folded, poster has been linen-mounted and has had moderate scattered restoration along fold lines, De Varney's shirt, bkg. area behind his head, bottom of Mann's dress and surrounding porch steps. Margins have been completely repainted. Fine overall, but retains strong color for nice display.
