Item Description
Sizes 1.5-3.25 plus 7.5" ribbon. First is bronze badge with "Baltimore" hanger. Scene of pony express rider with text around " Natl. Assn. of Post Office Clerks" and reverse state seal with "Eighth Annual Convention Sept. 6, 1897".  Second is early 1900s embossed nickel-plated badge with "Baltimore Post Office", rider, and "640" serial. Next are two different serial numbers on large oval badges for "U.S. Receiving Clerk". Fifth is green enamel and brass "American Railway Express" badge w/ serial 1407. Last badge is "The Pennsylvania Railroad" with serial 1676 and photo. Ribbon is dated for 5/10/1902 34th convention of "Old Reliable Railroad Conductors' Life Insurance Assoc. at "the City of Mexico". Ribbon fine with badges VF to NM.
