Item Description
These 1930s bisque figures were issued in three sizes - 2.5", 3.5" and 4.5" tall. This is the 3.5" tall set. Original box includes label featuring scene of the Big Bad Wolf outside of Practical Pig's house as Three Little Pigs dance and sing inside. Marked "George Borgfeldt Corp." Box is complete w/original cardboard dividers. Label has some lt. moisture staining at upper right corner and "Made In Japan" label shows moderate wear. Underside of box shows heavy soiling and box has some edge denting but o/w remains tight. Fine overall but still quite presentable for display. Figures are choice, NM examples. Comes w/matching scale Big Bad Wolf bisque, which is evenly aged and has some scattered paint wear. Fine/VF.
