Moderate wear to scabbard including light pitting and a dent on one side, Fine. Snake skin triple wire wrapped handle has only trivial losses and the brass pommel has light wear, VF. Blade retains majority of it's original luster w/only a few scattered tiny nicks and pronounced etching of "US" and an imposing eagle, VF. A striking example of an impressive and historic sword.
