3.25x5.5" each. All covers feature American flags among the patriotic motifs. First features portrait of "Parson Brownlow" and a quote from a letter at right responding to a request to serve in the Southern Army that reads in part "When I Shall Have Made Up My Mind To Go To Hell, I Will Cut My Throat And Go Direct, And Not Travel Round By The Way Of The Southern Confederacy." Remnants of scrap book mounting on reverse of each. VF. All display near file copy quality w/only light age toning.
