Item Description
27.5x40.75" for the original release of the 1943 Republic 15 chapter movie serial directed by William Witney and John English and starring Henry Brandon as villain Fu Manchu as well as William Royle, Robert Kellard and Gloria Franklin. Stunning stone lithography by Morgan Litho. Corp. of Cleveland, OH features Fu Manchu beside Chinese dragon as Royle stands at attention w/gun in hand. Portrait of Franklin at center right. Originally folded, poster has been linen-mounted and has had some color touch-ups along fold lines and to splits at fold crease intersections and margins. Top margin has had 1.5x2.75" piece replaced/repainted just left of center. This blends well and poster o/w displays VF/Exc. as linen-mounted w/bold color.
