Item Description
27.25x41" for the original release of the 1940 United Artists drama set during the early days of World War II, directed by John Ford and starring John Wayne, Thomas Mitchell, Ian Hunter, Barry Fitzgerald, Wilfrid Lawson, John Qualen and Mildred Natwick. Poster features nice lithography showing the cast aboard a ship, being serenaded by group of local women, w/"The Love Of Women In Their Eyes... The Salt Of The Sea In Their Blood" tagline at top. Originally folded, poster has been linen-mounted and has had some minor color touch-ups along fold lines and some scattered minor restoration including small spot of edge filling at upper right margin. Displays Exc. as linen-mounted w/vivid color.
