Item Description
27.25x41" for the original release of the 1940 Paramount Pictures thriller directed by Tim Whelan and starring Basil Rathbone as a physician whose successive wealthy wives die. Film also stars Ellen Drew, John Howard, Barbara Allen (Vera Vague) and Ralph Morgan. Eerie stone lithography by Morgan Litho. Corp. of Cleveland, OH has Howard and Drew looking up at Rathbone's leering eyes at top of poster. Originally folded, poster has been linen-mounted w/some color touch-ups along fold lines and fold crease intersections. Pin holes/staple holes at corners and along margins, but no apparent restoration other than the touch-ups. Displays VF as linen-mounted.
