Item Description
3" w/filled metal back and a loop for necklace at top. Curl reads "War No More/Give Peace a Chance/From the Romance and Sex Investigative Intelligence Division of the Peace Party/PO Box 231/Macon, Georgia 31202" on curl. A few scattered air marks in field and only faint surface wear. Exc. displaying Mint as made. Issued in 1976 by Joseph Thomas Robino Jr. in conjunction w/his quixotic campaign for the presidency. Robino was a Las Vegas gambler who was born in Atlanta, GA. He had a habit of replying to letters by writing on the back of a Daily Racing Form and made a large bet that he would carry two states in the 1976 Presidential election.
