4.75" tall bisque in great likeness of Alphonse (half of "Alphonse And Gaston" early comic strip character team), shown opening his valise and gesturing as if to utter his "Allow Me Gaston" catchphrase. Unmarked but likely German made, c. early 1900s. Exc. appearance, featuring great design and color. Rare.
