Item Description
30.25x40.25" British poster for the original release of the 1912 Thanhouser Company silent drama directed by Lucius Henderson and starring Mignon Anderson, Marie Eline and Harry Benham. Thanhouser was one of the first motion picture studios, producing over 1,000 silent films. Great stone lithography by Jordison & Co. Ltd. of London, England features scene captioned "Your People Shall Be My People" and shows husband and wife along w/another man at bedside of a bedridden child. Originally folded, fold lines are only detectable at center left margin and as linen-mounted, poster now displays Exc. w/minimal restoration done at such a professional level it is barely discernable. Rare.
