Item Description
14-1/8x42-1/8" poster promoted "Oriental Oddities" act performed by Irving the Magician, who in addition to his normal magician persona, also donned a separate identity, that of the stereotypical Asian magician "Chinese Charlie." Printed by Dross & Banta of Chicago, IL c. 1920, poster features portrait of Irving and four different images of Chinese Charlie performing tricks. Margins feature Asian theme that includes several classic magic tricks. Top corners and lower right corner show some wear w/small tears and pin hole at lower right. Some paper lifts on back of corners from mounting. Poster has been rolled and is Fine/VF overall.
