Item Description
27x40.75" for the original 1957 US release of British film directed by Terence Fisher, and the first Hammer Horror film to star Christopher Lee as Frankenstein's Monster. The film also features Peter Cushing as Doctor Frankenstein, along w/Hazel Court and Robert Urquhart. Poster features the Frankenstein Monster's disembodied head beside "The Creature Created By Man And Forgotten By Nature" promotional text. Lower left has inset laboratory scene and image of cowering woman appears above text block that reads "Please Try Not To Faint. Not Recommended For People Of Nervous Dispositions." Folded as issued, poster shows lt. wear along fold lines and at fold crease intersections. Back has some surface paper lifts along margins and at corners, which only shows through onto front slightly at bottom corners. Still displays Fine/VF overall. Striking Hammer movie poster.
