Item Description
Three pieces for English publication and club. 5.75x7.75" two sided card and 1" enamel on brass badge feature black characters "Eb' And Flo'", who were created by Wilfred Haughton. Wilfred also was the artist on the first Mickey Mouse English annual (and following annuals) and worked on the Mickey Mouse Weekly from its inception in 1936. The card has been inscribed "Minnie" on back. Lt. edge wear, Fine. Nice quality badge is Exc. Final item is 5x8" "Mickey Mouse Club Weekly Club News" letter. Has images of Mickey and Minnie at the top. Starts with "My Dear Cheery Coon" and ends w/facsimile signature of Mickey. Body of the text mentions Flo' and the enclosure of a copy of MM Weekly. Aging and small piece off bottom left corner. VG. Rare and first we've seen in our 51 years.
