Item Description
Interesting pair related to the production of the classic 1939 Pure Oil premium thick cardboard paddle. 11x14" single-sided proof sheet features full color art of the premium w/single hole punched at top/bottom. Slightly uneven horizontal fold just below center. Sheet is o/w clean and VF. 5x10" envelope features all original art design for premium mailing envelope. Front features image of Lone Ranger Bat-O-Ball paddle w/"Hi-Yo Silver" hand-lettered text. Circle has additional "This Envelope Contains One Lone Ranger Bat-O-Ball Paddle & Ball" text. Small 1939 Lone Ranger copyright in pencil beside image. Back of envelope has hand-lettered/illustrated instructions. Envelope is evenly aged w/square of glue staining on reverse and moderate scattered handling wear. Fine overall. Unique.
