Item Description
42.25x80" for early 1900s theater performance featuring the comedienne Rosalie in "The Knickerbockers." Great stone lithography by The H.C. Miner Litho. Co. of New York, NY features near lifesize, full body image of Rosalie seated on table beside bottle of champagne, holding up a glass in a toast. As w/all three-sheets, this poster is pieced together from three pieces, resulting in some uneven margins, but images line up nicely. Originally folded, poster has been linen-mounted and has split along fold line at bottom left and left margin has several edge tears and uneven area w/some chipping to lower left margin, which has some scattered airbrushing. Poster o/w remains bright and clean w/just some restoration at corners and edge where pieces meet for assembly. Displays Fine/VF as linen-mounted. Rare poster for this obscure show.
