Item Description
The 86 buttons that comprise the Kellogg's set issued 1945-1946 were issued in a sealed translucent paper packet with one button packet per cereal box. The packets practically demanded that the child rip them open to make the button theirs. We've sold thousands of Pep buttons as singles and sets over our 51 years. There are six fully sealed packs in this lot and two with a hairline opening. Besides these eight packs, in those 51 years we've seen probably only another eight so these are truly scarce in this form. The sealed characters are: Barney Google, Casper, Little Moose, Mac, Spud, and Vitamin Flintheart. The two with small paper split are Mama DeStross and Superman. NM to Mint as issued.
