Large and impressive 47.25x62.75" for the original 1950 French release of the Georges Péclet directed adaptation of French World War II flying ace Pierre Clostermann's popular book "Le Grand Cirque" (The Big Show), recounting his experiences in the war flying Spitfires w/the RAF. Action-packed lithography features reproduction of the cover to Clostermann's book at top left, w/images of attacking Spitfires. Originally folded, poster has been linen-mounted and shows wear w/some aging and scattered touch-ups along fold lines and more moderate restoration at fold crease intersections. Margins have moderate even aging and some scattered wear/splits. Displays Fine as linen-mounted w/strong color.
