Item Description
41.25x78.5" for the original release of the 1950 RKO film noir directed by Robert Stevenson and starring Laraine Day, Robert Ryan, John Agar, Thomas Gomez and Janis Carter. Originally titled "I Married A Communist," the name was changed prior to release due to poor polling among preview audiences. Great lithography features Day lounging at top of poster, smoking a cigarette beside "High Voltage Melodrama!" promotional text. Bottom of poster features portraits of co-stars and dockside murder scene. As w/all three sheets, this poster is pieced together from three pieces, resulting in some uneven margins, but images line up nicely. Originally folded, poster has been linen-mounted and has extensive color touch-ups along fold lines. Pin holes at corners and repairs to some holes along right image edge. Bottom margin has slight trim, resulting in unevenness, but not overly distracting. Fine as linen-mounted.
