Item Description
3.5x6.5x7/8" deep wonderfully illustrated cardboard tri-fold box opens to reveal 7/8x1.25" chrome luster case Timex watch issued for the English market only (back of case is marked "Great Britain"). 1950s. Box is unique to this issue. Inside flaps of box include images of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Die-cut insert serves as frame for mirrored glass panel w/Snow White image. Top/bottom die-cut edges of box shows some lt. wear and lid tab shows moderate wear w/.25" tear. Fine/VF overall. Watch comes w/original leather bands and dial features same image of Snow White from the knees up as US Time watches (see previous items #1758-1759), but English version was in blue/red colors w/o yellow on dress. Running. NM. Very rare and only the second example we've offered in our 51 years.
