Item Description
3-7/8x4-7/8x1-5/8" deep book-like hinged lid illustrated cardboard box unique to this Timex watch issued for the English market. 1950s. Box opens for a pop-up display of die-cut illustrated cardboard insert that holds 3.75" long clear plastic "glass" slipper, which in turn holds 7/8x1-3/8" silver luster metal case watch w/replacement leather bands. Box is complete w/closure strap and has some handling wear/aging w/creases at corners and on insert. Fine. Watch's dial features image of Cinderella in her ball gown from the knees up. Dial features totally different colors than seen on US version (see item #1779). Running. Dial is lightly aged but o/w Exc. Rare and just the second example we've offered in our 51 years.
