Item Description
Pair of early 1900s high quality hand-painted bisques depict Foxy Grandpa. Both are unmarked but German made. 5.5" tall version features artist's trademark "bunny" between his legs while 8.25" tall version depicts Foxy Grandpa seated. Smaller bisque has some lt. wear and is VF/Exc. while larger has some scattered dust soiling and a few marks to base and back of unpainted coat. Fine/VF. 4" tall painted bisque Baby "Snookums" nodder sits behind ink well w/"Snookums" name incised on front of collar. Schafer & Vater, c. 1910. Ink stain remains on rim of well. Bisque is o/w clean and VF. Great early comic character trio.
