Item Description
Large and impressive 78.75x81" for the original release of the of the Universal Pictures 18 chapter silent movie serial "Do Or Die" directed by J.P. McGowan and starring Eddie Polo, Magda Lane, Inez McDonald, J.P. McGowan and Jay Marchant. The serial is now considered a lost film. Poster is for Chapter 10 "The Secret Cavern" and features great stone lithography by Morgan Litho. Corp. of Cleveland, OH, showing Polo about to enter cave as men push large rock onto him from above. Poster has been linen-mounted and has had repairs to margin holes w/scattered airbrushing to margins. Restoration and color touch-ups along fold lines w/moderate restoration at fold crease intersections (more noticeable at Polo's face and letter "I" in his name). Top left margins have repairs to several small edge tears. Displays Fine as linen-mounted.
