Item Description
9-3/8x12" Masonite board w/attached thin cardboard overlay covers 8x10.75" image area painted on board. Mixed media original art by Lou Harrison, a cover artist who has worked for Marvel, DC and Dark Horse comics. Some of his most notable work includes covers for Clive Barker's Hellraiser, Thor, Conan and on several Marvel Comics trading card sets. Art depicts Marvel comics supervillain Boomerang and was created for Skybox's 1996 "Spider-Man Premium" trading card series as card #6. Boomerang has frequently battled Spider-Man since he first appeared in 1966. Harrison has signed at lower right. Art remains NM and ready for display as professionally matted and framed.
