Item Description
9-1/8x10.75" Bainbridge artboard has acrylic and airbrushed painting original art by Nelson DeCastro, known professionally as Nelson, a comic book artist known for his airbrushed cover art, and his interior penciling, inking and coloring work. Painting was created for "Magic: The Gathering" 2002 "Onslaught" expansion and is titled "Weird Harvest." Art shows five armored ghouls seated around table, eating the remains of an emaciated man's corpse that is gruesomely on display in a pool of blood on the table. This proposed art was ultimately not chosen/published. Image area measures 7x8.75". Nelson has signed at bottom right. NM.
