Item Description
2-7/8" tall (4.5" tall to top of raised handle) tin litho. Ohio Art. Co., 1930s. Pail features great wraparound scene of Mickey Mouse fishing off end of dock as Pluto sits beside can of worms. Minnie Mouse is seen on the water in "Mickey Mouse" canoe. Comes w/6" long tin litho shovel which shows trace wear. Pail has just lt. trivial wear/aging. High grade, Exc./NM example. Among the rarest of Ohio Art pails, it is not shown in the Wengels' book "Comic Character Metal Sand Pails" and is the first example we've seen in 51 years. A true rarity enhanced by its high grade condition.
