Item Description
11x17" DC Comics artboard has Zach Howard's pen and ink original art for cover of "Year One: Batman - Scarecrow" #1, published by DC July 2005. Howard's art has been inked by Jay Leisten and features a dynamic scene of Batman leaping over giant pumpkins (one speared by an immense pitchfork) towards young and frightened Jonathan Crane as his adult alter-ego Scarecrow looks on from bkg. (top half of Scarecrow's face was partially covered by book's title when published). Both Howard and Leisten have signed art at lower left and Howard has signed his full name under art at left. Top margin has inked "Scare Crow Year #1" title, issue number and artists' names. Exc.
