Item Description
Lot of five pinback buttons, all from same early 1900 set that were issued in either 7/8" or 1.25" dia. sizes, depicting ballplayers in blue or red uniforms and w/gold or white bkgs. These are all larger size, each player in red uniforms w/matching gold bkgs. Positions include - "Captain, First Base, Second Base, Third Base" and "Centre Field." All have Whitehead & Hoag backpapers w/1896 patent date. Buttons show lt. general wear but all display glossy and Exc.
