Item Description
Large 17x26.75" die-cut thick cardboard standee w/easel back depicts Petunia Pig (Porky Pig's sweetheart) holding an ice cream cone above "BroadView Ice Cream" imprint. Sign was printed by The Wolf Company of Philadelphia, PA. 1940s. Bottom left has Leon Schelsinger copyright. Additional "Petunia Featured In Looney Tunes" text at bottom center. Some scattered edge/corner tip wear w/applied reinforcements to the knot of Petunia's bandana. Surface paper has two 1.25" tears where these pieces were reattached. Pin holes at top/bottom left of base area and at upper right, alongside some tiny age spotting. Standee o/w displays Fine. Rare and first we've seen in our 51 years. Among the most impressive 1940s Warner Bros. items we've offered, especially for a character that saw little merchandise produced bearing her image.
