Item Description
14x22" thin cardboard poster for Dec. 23, 1974 concert that took place at the Paramount-Theatre in Wilkes-Barre, PA featuring Kiss. This concert was in support of Kiss's second album, 1974's "Hotter Than Hell," released on the Casablanca label. Due in part to severed relationship between Casablanca and distributor Warner Bros., Casablanca wasn't able to offer sufficient marketing support for "Hotter Than Hell," which was in part responsible for the album's poor sales. The decision was made in early 1975 to cut short the "Hotter Than Hell" tour so that Kiss could focus on quickly producing and releasing their third album, "Dressed To Kill." Poster features stylized photo of the band in day-glo pink. Poster has heavy horizontal crease at center w/scattered moisture staining, more evident along fold line and on image of Paul Stanley. Poster has scattered faint age spotting and scattered wear to surface as well as corner tips and margins. Back of poster has some aged tape strips and surface paper lifts from tape removal, but these do not affect front's display. VG overall. Rare and early Kiss poster.
