41x46.5" poster features image of Armour's 1920s trademark African-American chef holding large "Armour's Star Ham" w/large logo above image and "Smoked In The New Stockinet Covering," which is pulled up on image of ham. Additional "U.S. Inspected And Passed By Department Of Agriculture Establishment 2A." Poster has been linen-mounted and has had bottom margin replaced w/some scattered restoration. Upper left corner has been reattached and margins have some small squares of cloth tape. Heavy vertical line of creasing, running across chef's face and scattered creasing in green areas of poster. VG overall, but could be greatly improved if attended to by reputable conservator for removal and remounting.
