Item Description
3.75x4.75x7" tall painted plaster. c. 1940s. We have offered figural anti-Hitler items depicting Hitler as a pig, skunk, rat and monkey in the past, but this takes the Anti-Axis theme to a whole different level. Realistic phallic design w/raised Hitler face on underside of head of penis. Recessed scrotum base serves as the ashtray. A few tiny paint flakes to base and tip of Hitler's nose and scattered dust soiling. VF. We have offered only two other examples of this item in our 51 years, and both examples featured a totally different (and less detailed) face sculpt. The example we are offering here features a more detailed depiction of Hitler's face, which has a forlorn look. Truly bizarre and rare. Mark Treitel Collection.
