Item Description
Pair of painted plaster ashtrays by Bassons Dummy Products, 1943. Part of a series that included Mussolini and Tojo, Lot includes regular 7" long Hitler ashtray w/recessed area in Hitler's mouth for ashes or to stub out cigarette/cigar and also includes scarce variety featuring a stylized design. Underside of this version has illustrated label that notes you can strike matches on Hitler's mustache, stub lit cigarette in his single eye and rest cigarette in the ridges of his hair. Ashtrays exhibit lt. scattered wear/aging. Regular ashtray has .25x3/8" flake to tip of nose and is Fine/VF while scarce variety is Exc.
