Item Description
11x17" artboard has pen and ink original art for cover to prestige format comic book "The Punisher: Bloodlines," published by Marvel in 1991. Cover art by Dave Cockrum features The Punisher standing front and center, holding young Laura Jefferson as he stands beside Esteban Ramone, a large smoking rifle in his hand and an ammunition belt draped over his shoulder. Thugs employed by Ramone's father - druglord Hector Ramone - appear in bkg. of burning jungle. Art has "Marvel Comics" and "The Punisher: Bloodlines" title logo paste-overs. Bottom margin has white strip of tape and some white correctional fluid. Cockrum has signed at lower left. Back has penciled title and additional staff information. Art remains clean and Exc. Comes w/reading copy of the comic book this art was produced for. Jason Taulbee Collection.
