14-5/8x19-5/8" thick cardboard sign features photo image from April 5, 1915 boxing match that took place in Havana, Cuba, between then World Heavyweight Champion Jack Johnson and Jess Willard, which saw Johnson lose the title in the 26th round. Photo shows this moment and is captioned "Jack Johnson Knocked Out By Jess Willard - Havana, Cuba, April 5, 1915. 26th Round" at bottom left. Sign has "Bouvier - The Original Buchu Gin" advertising text printed on ring's mat. Signs shows obvious corner tip wear w/scattered edge wear, including some small flakes to surface paper (largest being at bottom left, partially obscured end of caption text). VG overall.
