Item Description
11x17" Marvel Comics artboard has pen and ink original art for the "Rest In Pieces" variant cover for "Punisher" Vol. 3 Annual #1, published by Marvel in Nov. 2009. Cover art by Tom Raney and inked by Scott Hanna. Cover features a close-up image of Franken-Castle, his head and arm removed. This art was published as a variant cover, but was edited slightly for publication, obscuring the gory details of Franken-Castle's neck-stump and altering the neck/neckline of his shirt. The inner wiring of the lightbulb was also obscured by lighting effect. Both Raney and Hanna have signed in black felt tip pen at bottom left. NM.
