Item Description
12-3/8x12-3/8" album cover for The Rolling Stones' "Sticky Fingers" album, which was released in April 1971 on the band's then-new Rolling Stones Records label. The Stones' ninth album, it achieved triple platinum certification in the US, w/songs like the chart-topping "Brown Sugar" and is the first full-length appearance of Mick Taylor on a Rolling Stones album and is the first Rolling Stones album not to feature any contributions from guitarist and founder Brian Jones. Original pressing w/working zipper cover and inner sleeve w/band photo/track info. Front has been signed in blue felt tip pen by founding members Charlie Watts (who adds "Best Wishes" inscription) and Keith Richards while Taylor has boldly signed in gold paint pen. Cover has some handling wear w/scattered edge creases and corner tip wear. Trace of price tag by Taylor's signature. This has been removed, slightly smudging his signature. Back cover has surface impressions from another record. Fine overall w/bold signature/inscription. Comes w/NM copy of LP. Comes with Hake's COA and Roger Epperson/REAL LOA.
