Item Description
7.5" tall hard plastic figure of Pittsburgh Pirates #24 Dick Groat in batting stance. Hartland Plastics, c. late 1950s. The original Hartland series was produced 1958-1963 and Groat is the rarest of the original 18 baseball Hartlands. While others were produced in numbers of 50,000 to 150,000 apiece, only 5,000 total were produced for Groat, accounting for his rarity. Comes w/replacement bat. A bright and clean example that stands perfectly and retains paint w/only slightest aging to white of his uniform. Exc.
