14-1/8x21.75" thin cardboard tour blank concert poster for early 1950s concert featuring Grammy-winning "Queen of the Blues" Dinah Washington, who heads up All-Star line-up including jazz saxophonist and blues shouter Eddie "Mr. Cleanhead" Vinson and jazz trumpeter Cootie Williams, who played w/Duke Ellington and Bennie Goodman's bands. Poster features photo of Washington and lists "I Only Know" and "Long John Blues" song titles. Vinson and Williams are also pictured. Blank marquee at top. Printed by Globe Poster of Baltimore, MD. Poster has even aging and corner tips show scattered wear/foxing. Fine overall. Rare.
