Item Description
10.5x15" book w/stiff paper covers featuring Tin Man helping Scarecrow over fence. Whitman No. 663, ©1939. 40 pages w/art by H.E. Vallely. Book is a Whitman file copy as noted by "Western Printing & Litho. Co. Editorial Dept. Library" stamp on front cover and title page, which also has 1939 date received inkstamp w/handwritten date/publication code. Book is unused and pages have tanned w/age. A few pinch creases to spine but much nicer than typically found and still a choice, high grade example. VF/Exc.
