Item Description
Here is an early career Gene Autry dime store novelty probably available c. 1931 when his first song hit "That Silvered Haired Daddy of Mine" swept the airwaves. This 2.25" tall brass frame with base stand and top loop has a black cardboard back with a small "F.W. Woolworth Co." sticker with "15¢" below in faded but faintly discernable black ink. His tinted photo on the front panel is covered by a sheet of celluloid. Beautifully designed, our first seen and NM with just a little subdued luster after nearly 90 years.
