Item Description
Envelope is 8.5x11.5" and features illustration of children playing the game. This version is by Hall Brothers and differs greatly from the version by Marks Bros. Vintage 1930s original issue, not the reproduction done by Hallmark in the 1970s. Envelope is tanned and shows wear, tiny tears along edges, reverse is missing one entire side flap. Front has some small scattered moisture spotting but still VG for display. This game sheet is 21x23" and is on linen-like paper. Title at top also reads "Pin The Tail On Mickey" followed by "Let's See You Pin A Tail On Me-Right On The Spot Where Tails Should Be!" The large image is similar but different from version by Marks. As intended, the lower portion of the sheet which has the tails has been cut off along the dotted line. Issued w/14 numbered tails. Seven have been totally and neatly trimmed from the sheet. Portion of sheet w/instructions has one tail untrimmed, additional 6.5x10.5" portion of the sheet has not been trimmed and has tails #10-14, this partial sheet is shown in our photo. Missing one tail. The tails that have been totally cut out have pin holes and some lt. creases from use but all remain clean. The game sheet has only a few pin holes which are barely visible and lt. wear along fold lines. Still bright and clean, VF. A classic 30's Mickey item.
