Item Description
8x8x1/5" deep countertop display is cardboard w/simulated wood grain covering and clear plastic hinged front w/metal handle. Only a portion of the easel remains on back. Designed to hold a total of 36 rings, 11 remain. These same rings were also issued with certain c. 1948 watch sets. Sterling silver rings with adjustable bands. These have either square or round top and w/different bkg. color around the raised character images. Because of these variations, no two rings in this lot are identical. There are two for Mickey and three each for Donald, Pluto and Bongo. Three w/luminous bkg. have typical aging and no longer glow. Trace of luster wear to a few bands but most full bright luster remains. Rings are VF to NM. The Mickey and Donald rings were also sold on a different store display and are more common than Pluto, and especially Bongo, which are scarce. Display shows wear, especially along edges. Bottom center of insert has .5x1" surface paper clip apparently where original printed price once was. VG. A rare display,
