Item Description
1.25" button with Brunt, S. F. back paper. Button came shortly after 1908 when the original Holt company founded in 1871 in San Leandro, CA and known for its steam driven farm machinery went to a new owner while the son of the founder formed a rival company, the Best. By 1925, C.L. Best and Holt Manufacturing Co. joined to form Caterpillar Tractor Co. Cello has a single pinpoint speck trapped above "Best" but 99.9% is glossy and NM. Quite a rare tractor button.
