Item Description
7/8" tall. Figural enamel on brass lapel stud depicts the Yellow Kid, the first ever comic strip character, wearing a nightshirt reading "Hogan's Alley Is Out Fer McKinley." This slogan represents the first ever comic character endorsement of a presidential candidate. Reverse and stud retain about 40% of the original silver application. Enamel is complete and includes touches of red tone on each of his large ears. NM. Only the fourth we have encountered in our 52 years.
