Item Description
Two pieces of vellum assemble to form 8.25x11.5" trimmed sheet; the two pieces both have mixed media original art depicting the Sea Hag from "Popeye," of which a costume was produced by Collegeville during the 1960s. Sheet has been cut in two in an apparent purposeful design, though there is a small sliver of missing art at left of Sea Hag's jaw. Sheet has pin holes at top corners and shows moderate handling wear w/some paint flakes. VG. Comes w/production mask (w/flicker eye attachments) and costume. Mask has large cracks on chin and is VG. Costume suit bears KFS copyright and additional Sea Hag images. Aged but clean and free of splits. Fine/VF. Prototype represents a unique item for this fan favorite "Popeye" character.
