Item Description
14x36" stiff paper insert poster for the 1952 re-release of the 1933 RKO classic "King Kong." Poster features great graphics of Kong battling airplane while holding Fay Wray in his hand. Photo images of the film's three main leads - Bruce Cabot, Fay Wray and Robert Armstrong - at bottom. Poster has not been folded as insert posters typically were but shows moderate wear, including scattered moisture staining (most noticeable along bottom margin), 5.25" margin tear at lower right w/tape repair on back, 1" tear just below this has been repaired by masking tape border added to back. 1.5" line puncture by Kong foot at center of poster. Scattered margin wear w/small tears and corner tip wear. VG overall, but graphic still displays well and poster would benefit from framing.
