Item Description
These Steiff dolls came in a variety of sizes and this is 9.5" tall version. Stuffed velveteen doll w/oilcloth eyes and four mother-of-pearl pants buttons. 1930s. Original cardboard tag attached to chest and button in ear w/fabric Steiff tag. Both are aged but o/w Exc. Original string whiskers present, but as is typical, missing rubber tail. Underside of one foot has company markings. Doll is evenly aged, but this does not detract greatly from overall appearance and doll is still a nice example w/clean face and deep rich color. Exc. Stands well and is matching size to Minnie Mouse doll, see following item.
